Nov. 20, 2009 – Every Truman women’s basketball player that saw the court scored on Friday night, as the Bulldogs used a 19-8 run to break open a 32-32 tie early in the second half and beat Southwest Minnesota State on the road, 71-59. Junior Malorie Kiecker led three Bulldogs in double-figures with a team-high 12 points.
Nov. 18, 2009 - After picking up a four point win in the 2009-2010 season opener, the Truman women’s basketball team heads to Minnesota this weekend for games on back-to-back days on the Southwest Minnesota State University campus. The Bulldogs (1-0) take on the host Mustangs (0-0) on Friday night before facing Minnesota State-Moorhead (1-0) on Saturday afternoon.
Nov. 17, 2009 – Sophomore Breanna Daniels scored nine of Truman’s final 15 points, as the Truman women’s basketball team overcame a nine-point deficit in the final five and a half minutes on Tuesday night to win the 2009-2010 season opener, 58-54, against Hannibal-LaGrange.
Nov. 16, 2009 – Truman women’s basketball head coach Michael Smith has announced the signing of four student-athletes who will be joining the Bulldog squad for the 2010-2011 season. Smith inked two guards and two forwards during the early signing period.
Nov. 15, 2009 - The Truman women’s basketball team will tip off the 2009-10 season on Tuesday night in Pershing Arena as they host Hannibal-LaGrange College. The Bulldogs were 8-19 with a 5-7 record in Kirksville, while the Trojans were13-18 in 2008-09.
