Sept. 3, 2008 – The Truman football game against Southern Arkansas set for Saturday, has been moved to Liberty, Mo., on the campus of William Jewell University due to delays in the installation of the Stokes Stadium synthetic turf. Kickoff at 12:00 pm.
Aug. 29, 2008 – The Truman/Missouri S&T Football game has been postponed indefinitely and will not be played this weekend. The game could potentially be played on Nov. 15th if neither team is selected for the NCAA Division II playoffs and allowable under NCAA legislation.
Aug. 26, 2008 - The Truman Bulldogs will kick off the 2008 season with a neutral site game against Missouri University of Science & Technology. The game will be played in Fayette, Mo. on the campus of Central Methodist College and will kick off at 7:00 p.m.

Aug. 11, 2008 – Aug. 11, 2008 – The Truman Football team will depart from Kirksville for Fort Leavenworth (Kan.) on Monday afternoon for a five-day training camp.
Aug. 5, 2008 – Tickets for the upcoming Truman Football season are now on sale. The seven-game home season will kickoff on August 28th against Missouri S&T. Both season and single-game tickets can be purchased online.
Aug. 5, 2008 – The Truman Bulldog Football team will begin on-field practice starting on Thursday August 7th at the Stokes Stadium practice field. The Bulldogs were picked eighth in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll at the Media Kickoff Luncheon on Monday.
May 8, 2008 – The Truman Athletics Department has released the fall schedules for three conference sports for the 2008 season. The Bulldog football team will kick off the 2008-09 home athletic season with a Thursday night game against Missouri S&T.
April 7, 2008 – Ryan Nourse has been named the new defensive coordinator for the Bulldog football team, Truman Director of Athletics Jerry Wollmering announced Monday. Nourse, from Morningside College (Iowa), was the 2007 American Football Coaches Association NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year.
Feb. 6, 2008 – On national signing day, the Truman football coaching staff has announced that 28 players have signed National Letters of Intent, four more have joined the team at semester and two have been admitted to Truman and signed institutional agreements.
Nov. 13, 2007 – Juniors Matt Ticich, Les Hammers and sophomore Mickey Masucci were voted second team all-MIAA by the conference football coaches this week.
Nov. 10, 2007 - The Truman Football team was able to erase a 14-point deficit and defeat Missouri Western 37-28 at Stokes Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The win gave the Bulldogs their 70th winning year in the final game of the 100th season of Bulldog Football.
Nov. 8, 2007 - The 2007 and 100th season of Truman football will come to an end on Saturday afternoon with a lot riding in the final game. The Bulldogs (5-5/3-5 MIAA) will be looking for win number six which would give them their second consecutive winning season and 70th season of a .500 record or better. Missouri Western (8-2/6-2 MIAA) is fighting for an NCAA playoff spot with Washburn and will need a win against the Bulldogs to help their cause for the selection committee.
Nov. 3, 2007 – The Missouri Southern Lions scored 21 first quarter points to down the Truman Bulldogs 55-24 in Joplin on Saturday afternoon. Truman, now 5-5 overall and 3-5 in the MIAA, will host Missouri Western at Stokes Stadium in the season finale next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
Oct. 31, 2007 - The Bulldogs final road trip of the 2007 season will take them to Joplin and Missouri Southern on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Truman (5-4/3-4 MIAA) will be looking to ride the momentum of their thrilling 33-30 overtime win over Emporia State and jump ahead of the Lions in the conference standings.
Oct. 30, 2007 – Mickey Masucci was named the MIAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week after making key field goals in the Bulldogs 33-30 overtime win on Saturday.
Oct. 27, 2007 – Tyler Fenton’s diving catch on a two-point conversion and Mickey Massuci’s 32-yard field goal in overtime, lifted the Truman Bulldogs to a 33-30 Homecoming victory at Stokes Stadium on Saturday afternoon
Oct. 24, 2007 - The 900th game in the 100th season of Truman football falls on Homecoming as the Bulldogs will host Emporia State on Saturday afternoon at Stokes Stadium. Truman (4-4 overall/2-4 MIAA) will be looking to snap a two-game winless streak, while the Hornets (3-5 overall/1-5 MIAA) are trying to break a five-game loosing skid.
Oct. 20, 2007 – The Washburn Ichabods exploded for 36 second quarter points and defeated the Truman Bulldogs 71-35 in Topeka, Kan. on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs are now 4-4 overall and 2-4 in the MIAA and will host Emporia State for Homecoming next weekend at 2:00 p.m.
Oct. 17, 2007 - The Truman football team will be looking to spoil homecoming for the Washburn Ichabods as the two teams square off in week six of the MIAA season. The game is Saturday at 1:00 p.m in Topeka and can be heard on KRES 104.7 FM and available to view on theMIAA.tv.
