NSCAA Top-25

Season Stats

Sept. 23, 2009 – The Truman men’s soccer team jumped into the NSCAA Div. II top-25 this week, debuting in the poll for the first time this season at No. 11.

The Bulldogs (6-1) are currently riding a six-match winning streak and picked up a pair of critical regional wins this past weekend in Texas against then-No. 7 Incarnate Word and St. Edward’s University.

During the current streak, Truman has allowed just three goals and has recorded four shutouts. Two Bulldogs – Dan Meagher and Bobby Larkin – lead the team in goals with four apiece, while redshirt freshman Tyler Knierim has posted a 0.51 goals-against-average and a 6-0 record this year while making 16 saves.

The Bulldogs travel to Newman (Kan.) this Sunday for a 12 pm battle with the Jets before heading to long-time rival Rockhurst on Wed., Sept. 30.
