Sept. 16, 2009 – Both Bulldog Cross Country team were ranked in the first United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association regional poll this week. The women moved up to fifth from the preseason poll and the men entered at ninth.
In the first two events run this season, the Bulldogs have come away with first place finishes in each. Truman won the Miner Invitational back on Sept. 5th and recently won the Les Duke Invitational held in Grinnell, Iowa this past weekend.
The polls, which are mirrored after the NCAA regions, are complied by the USTFCCCA each week. The Bulldogs are in the South Central region.
