Sept. 12, 2009 – Peter Bracha, Kyle Schlotz, Colin Boswell and Eric McCollough each went 2-1 as the Truman men’s tennis team opened up play at the Art Peterson Invitational in
Bracha lost his first match in a tie-break before winning his next two bouts in straight sets.
McCollough rallied for a third set tie break to pick up his first victory of the season in his second match and then carried the momentum over for a 6-1, 7-5 victory in his last of the tournament.
Boswell won his first match in three but then could not hold on as he lost in three in his second match of the tournament. He was a 6-1, 6-1 winner in the finale.
All four doubles teams picked up a win in the tournament.
