Sept. 8, 2009 – Sophomore Joey Walls was named the MIAA Men’s Cross Country runner of the week by the conference office.
Walls, a native of Columbia, Mo. and Hickman High School, took first place with a time of 15:49.0 in the 5K race with Missouri University of Science & Technology on Saturday. He beat out teammate Bob Gorman by nine seconds as the Bulldogs swept the first four places in the race.
