KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Having seen five straight doubleheaders affected due to inclement weather, the Truman softball squad has set make-up dates for four of those five previously scheduled contests.
The Bulldogs (8-15, 0-0 MIAA), who have not played since March 22, have shifted Tuesday’s scheduled home doubleheader with Missouri Western to Wednesday, April 1. First pitch at the Truman softball park will be 2 pm.
Next Tuesday (April 7) and Wednesday (April 8), Truman will travel to make-up a pair of postponed doubleheaders from this past weekend. The Bulldogs will battle Emporia State on the 7th at 1 pm before traveling to Topeka, Kan., on the 8th for a 2 pm start.
Finally, Truman and Lincoln University – who were originally scheduled to meet last Tuesday (March 24) in Kirksville – have set April 28th as their make-up date. The doubleheader in Kirksville will start at 2 pm.
The final postponed doubleheader – a March 25th contest against Missouri S&T – has yet to be rescheduled.
