Feb. 21, 2009 - Freshman Brian Tillis took advantage of a "Last Chance" meet and not only earned a berth into the national championship meet but broke a school record along the way.  Tillis won the 1650 Free in a time of 15:55.78 at the Midwest Invitational hosted by the University of Chicago.

Tillis, whose time was five seconds better than the school record, becomes the seventh men's swimmer to earn a trip to Houston, Texas for the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships that will be held on March 11-14th.
