Feb. 21, 2009 – The #4 ranked Minnesota State University Mavericks defeated the Truman wrestling team 50-0 in the team’s final dual of the season.  The Bulldogs will host the NCAA Division II Super Regional next Sunday in Pershing Arena.

 

The Mavericks scored five pin fall wins and one technical fall victory en route to the dual win. 

 

Heavyweight Loyde Braidlow battled #2 Brady Wilson to a 4-1 defeat.  There was no scoring in the first period but Wilson was able to get an escape followed by a takedown that led to the victory in the second period.

 

The Bulldogs finish the dual season with a record of 1-11.
