Truman Results

Feb. 14, 2009 – The Bulldog Indoor Track & Field teams captured 16 event titles at the Knox College Invitational on Saturday in Galesburg, Ill. Shaina Dochterman, Katrina Biermann and Coedy Walker each won two events for Truman.

Dochterman won both the 55 meter hurdles and the 200 meter dash, while Biermann and Walker swept the jumps.  Biermann took the long jump, her first time competing in the event this year, with a mark of 17-07.50 and the triple jump with a leap of 36-08.50.

Walker won the long jump with a leap of 22-03.00 and the triple at 45-01.50.

Other event winners on the men’s side were Damon Morris (400m), Joey Walls (800m), Adam Kell (Mile), Bob Gorman (3000) and Alex Van Delft (Shot Put).

On the women’s side winners were Anne Raterman (800m), Dani Dell’Orco (Mile), Fiona Williams (3000), Ashley Bernard (Weight Throw) and the 4x200 meter relay squad consisting of Dochterman, Kristin Lowry, Stephanie Grauel and Amber Clayton.

The teams will compete on Friday at the Central Missouri Classic, which is a tune-up for the MIAA Indoor Championships in Warrensburg the following weekend.
