Feb. 4, 2009 – Loyde Braidlow picked up the lone win for the Bulldogs in a road dual meet on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs lost to Missouri Baptist 36-6 and will next participate in the Missouri Valley Open on Saturday in Marshall, Mo.
Braidlow scored a pin fall victory at the 4:52 mark in the 285-pound match. Braidlow’s victim was Gralian Nash.
In other action from the dual, Alex Maus lost a 4-3 decision at 141 to Woodrow Harris, a two-time NAIA all-American and James Crone fell 6-3 in the opening bout to Gary Brooks.
The Bulldogs had four open spots in the lineup due to injury.
