Dec. 4, 2008 – The Truman wrestling team picked up their first dual match victory of the season by defeating Hannibal-LaGrange 40-12 Thursday night in Hannibal, Mo. The Bulldogs will compete at the Simpson Invitational on Saturday.
Both newcomers picked up pin fall victories for Truman. Alex Maus at 141 and J.C. Housley at 149 scored the fall wins in the first period. Maus won in 0:17 seconds while Housley got the fall at the 1:18 mark.
Jeremy Minter also picked up a major decision victory at 125.
