Nov. 16, 2008 – The Truman Wrestling team competed at the University of Central Missouri Open in Warrensburg on Sunday. Lloyde Braidlow was the only Bulldog to place finishing in sixth in the 285-pound weight class.
Braidlow advanced to the semi-finals with a 6-2 victory and a 4-3 overtime win against Travis Ewart of Missouri Valley College. In the next round, Braidlow was pinned by eventual champion Jerrod Rosholt of Oklahoma State.
Braidlow was defeated in the wrestleback semis and the fifth place match, this time by Ewart 3-1.
The Bulldogs will be at the University of Missouri Open next Sunday in Columbia.
