Nov. 1, 2008 – The Truman swimming teams competed against three other Division II schools at the University of Indianapolis over the weekend. The Bulldog women won five of six dual matches contested while the men were swept in all six. Truman will face Missouri State and Nebraska-Omaha next Saturday at the Pershing Natatorium.
On Friday the women defeated Ashland (Ohio) 160-45, Wayne State (Mich.) 144-83 and the host Greyhounds 141-82. While on Saturday Truman’s only loss came to Wayne St. 113-110. The Bulldogs defeated Ashland 155-50 and Indianapolis 146-77.
On the men’s side, Truman was defeated by Ashland 129-93 and 151-70, by Wayne State 141-90 and 173-58 and Indianapolis 110-95 and 132-73.
Both men and women will host Division I Missouri State at 2:00 p.m. Saturday Nov. 8th while Nebraska-Omaha will join in the women’s meet only.
