Oct. 21, 2008 – The Truman swimming teams earned academic recognition from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. In addition, 12 student-athletes were named to the association’s all-academic team.
The Bulldogs women had a team grade-point average of 3.39 and had nine student-athletes selected to their academic team. They were Kate Aherne, Kendra Brunkow, Emily Greenwood, Anna Grinter, Carina Pautz, Molly Polette, Emily Pufall, Tanya Sylvester and Katie Welsh.
The men were fourth of the 12 teams in grade-point average to receive the honor and boasted a 3.12 average. Andrew McCall, Peter McCall and Adam Pruess were named to the all-academic team.
