Oct. 6, 2008 – The Truman women’s golf team placed second as a team and Julie Williams was second as an individual at the Nebraska Wesleyan tournament. The Bulldogs finished three shots behind Nebraska-Omaha for the team title.
Truman cut into the Mavericks five shot lead on Monday with a 312 team score. Erin Semple made the biggest move for the Bulldogs, improving by 12 shots (88-76) and to place ninth overall.
Williams missed out on the individual title by one shot after rounds of 78-77. Krystal Limsiaco placed third overall and was one more shot behind Williams and tournament winner Kelli Baseley (Dakota Wesleyan).
