Sept. 29, 2008 - Senior Danna Kelly won her second MIAA Cross Country Runner of the Week award.  Kelly previously won following her performance at Missouri S&T on Sept. 6th

 

Kelly, a 5-foot-6 senior from Boone, Iowa, logged her ninth career top-10 finish as she placed fourth at the Augustana (Ill.) Brissman-Lundeen Invitational in Davenport, Iowa, Saturday (Sept. 27).

She finished with a fourth-place time of 22 minutes, 27.2 seconds on the 6-kilometer course, and was in the top four for most of the race.

The Bulldogs finished second to Washington (Mo.) in the team standings, with two runners placing in the top 10.

Kelly is a graduate of Boone High School.
