Sept. 28, 2008 – The Truman women’s golf team placed third at the Millikin University Fall Invitational over the weekend. Freshman Liz Lestmann was the highest finisher for the Bulldogs with a 13th place showing.
Lestmann improved by eight shots in her second round. She fired a four-over 76 to pass teammates Krystal Limsiaco and Julie Williams on the leaderboard.
Limsiaco tied for 14th with rounds of 81-80 and Williams tied for 16th with identical scores of 81.
The Bulldogs shot 330 in the first round and 324 in the second for a total team score of 654.
The team will compete at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite next Sunday in
