Sept. 9, 2008 – The Truman women’s golf team finished 15th at the Drury University Fall Shootout held in
Williams shot a five-over par 77 in the first round but backed up to an 86 on Tuesday. Sophomore Jennifer Lawson improved eight shots from the first to second rounds after she carded an 84 to finish in a tie for 68th.
Freshman Liz Lestermann also tied for 68th with rounds of 89-91. Freshman Jessica Kraus tied for 71st (91-90) and sophomore Erin Semple tied for 86th (91-95).
The tournament featured some of the top Division II programs in the country and was won by California University-Pa. with a score of 615.
