As a member of the Leathernecks swim team for four years, Naumann was a part of four conference team championship squads and was a second team all-conference performer for the Mid-Continent Conference in 2002. Naumann is listed in the top 10 times at WIU in the 100 backstroke and was named the team’s “Newcomer of the Year” following the 1998-99 season.
After his graduation from WIU, he joined the staff as an assistant coach and was also head coach for the
Prior to taking over at Augustana, Naumann served as head coach of the Davenport Metro swim team, aquatics director of the Davenport YMCA and the aquatics facility manager for the
