Aug. 8, 2008 – The Truman women were picked sixth, while the men slated seventh by the MIAA Cross Country Coaches in their annual preseason poll.  The Bulldogs will have an intrasquad meet on Aug. 30th at Thousand Hills State Park and open up the season at the Miner Invitational on Sept. 6th in Rolla.

The Bulldog women finished sixth last year at the conference meet and were led by a pair of juniors in Danna Kelly and Grace DelNero.  Kelly advanced out of the regional race to compete at the Division II championships last November.

The men tied for sixth also last year in the conference meet and had just one senior on the squad.  Junior Zach Chapman and sophomore Bob Gorman will look to lead this year’s team.
