This is the second consecutive selection and third in four years for the women’s team. The Bulldogs are lead by sophomore Krystal Limsiaco, who has three top-five finishes this year, including the individual title at the Upper Iowa Tournament in early April. Limsiaco has a scoring average of 82.2.
Junior Julie Williams and two freshmen, Kaytie Spangler and Jennifer Lawson, have all averaged within a stroke of one another and have finished in the top 10 at tournament eight times.
The top two teams out of the six team field, along with the lowest scoring individual of a non-advancing team will head to the NCAA Spring Sports Festival and the national championship tournament May 13-16th.
After earning the MIAA freshman of the year award, Chris Kovach was selected as one of five individuals to compete in the Central Region tournament in
Kovach has three top-10 finishes this season with his highest placing of third most recently at the MIAA Championships last week. He has a low round of 69 this season and has averaged 76.1 in 19 rounds played.
