Nov. 3, 2007 – The Truman men’s cross country team placed eighth out of 16 teams at the NCAA South Central regional cross country championships held in Joplin on Saturday.  Bryant England was the first Bulldogs to cross the line in 31st place.

 

England finished in a time of 32:42.4 and was followed across the line by Zach Chapman, in 35th overall, at 32:58.9.

 

Two other Bulldog runners were neck and neck as the finish with David Yonce edging out Josh Mantooth by four seconds for 51st place.

 

Tad Dallas (78th) and John Venner (89th) rounded out the Bulldog runners.

 

The MIAA had six of the top eight teams in the regional race with Missouri Southern winning the regional event with 41 points.
